Riverview Martial Arts is a traditional Korean Karate school that offers a variety of kids programs for all ages and abilities.
RMA trains young students in the art of Tang Soo Do, an early Korean fighting art that originated more than 2000 years ago.
Values such as self discipline, etiquette, respect, and patience are emphasized in our traditional training atmosphere. Students learn goal setting skills, and develop their drive and determination, through our Tang Soo Do belt ranking and testing system.
Benefits of martial arts for kids training include:
- Increased focus
- Respect for self and others
- Self confidence
- Physical fitness
The art was taught within families and passed down from one individual to another over generations.
In addition to the physical element of the practice, training also focuses heavily on building character in students and demonstrating respect for each other
